We first introduced the Freschetta brand to you in the fall of 1996. Back then, we took our time because we wanted to create something unlike anything else: Pizza with a crust that rises, smells and tastes like fresh baked bread. We traveled the small towns of Italy and France to sample the breads of local artisans, engaging in dialogue about ingredients and the art of baking. As a result of our travels, we brought to America a one-of-a-kind technology that recreates the process as we saw it done in Europe. Since that time, we have expanded our offerings to include eight-inch pizza varieties and our sauce-stuffed pizza, a first-to-world product.
